Recent engagements include Mozart's Mass in C Minor with Masterworks of Oakville Chorus & Orchestra, Bach's Cantatas 147 and 80 with Pax Christie Chorale, A Ceremony of Carols with the Toronto Chamber Choir, and Handel's
Solomon with Masterworks of Oakville. I also recently has the pleasure of preparing a recital featuring, among other 20th Century composers, the composition "Chamber Music" by Canadian Alan Heard. Since 2016, I have been focusing on developing a new Early Music group called Kammerchor London, where I perform and direct.
It's Sing-Along-Messiah time! December 22, 2018 at 4pm I will be having such great fun with The Grand River Chorus conducted by Richard Cunningham. I'm really looking forward to it!
My performance in Mozart's Mass in C minor with Oakville Masterworks Chorus and Orchestra went fabulously! Now the Oakville Chamber Orchestra has asked me to perform a commissioned piece.
THE UNITY OF HUMANITY
To celebrate their 35th anniversary, the Oakville Chamber Orchestra commissioned their artistic director, Charles Demuynck, to write a new world premiere work, entitled "The Other". May 25, 2019 at Shaarei Beth-El Synagogue at 7:30pm, and May 26, 2019 at St. Simon's Anglican Church at 3pm. Also on the program are three pieces from Schindler's List, and Mendelssohn's Symphony #3.
I received my formal education at the University of Toronto, earning a Bachelor of Music in Performance. I have performed for many prestigious organizations, including the Elmer Iseler Singers, the Elora Festival Singers, and Tafelmusik Chamber Choir. In 2014, I returned to school to continue my education, but still maintained a few singing engagements. In December of that year I debuted with the Nota Bene Baroque Players performing as Second Soprano in Bach's Magnificat.
